1. Purpose of the Marketplace

Flintwork Exchange is intended as a community marketplace for lawful buying and selling of flintknapping and related goods and services. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to use it only for legitimate, intended purposes.

2. Eligibility and Account Security

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use this platform. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that occurs under your login.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not use the platform for prohibited or harmful activity, including:

• Attempting to buy, sell, or promote illegal goods or services.
• Using the platform to harass, threaten, defraud, or impersonate others.
• Bypassing account, moderation, or payment safeguards.
• Posting misleading listings, fraudulent claims, or intentionally false information.
• Using automation or scraping in ways that disrupt normal platform operation.
• Any use unrelated to the intended marketplace purpose of buying and selling lawful flintknapping and related goods.

4. Account Termination and Enforcement

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to investigate suspected misuse and to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account that violates these Terms or is used for any non-intended, abusive, deceptive, or unlawful purpose.

We may also remove listings, messages, or other content that appears to violate these Terms, applicable law, or community safety expectations.

5. Marketplace Role and Transaction Responsibility

Flintwork Exchange provides a venue for users to connect. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, we are not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers and do not guarantee product quality, legality, delivery, payment completion, or user identity.

6. Listings and User Content

You are responsible for content you post, including listings, messages, images, and descriptions. By posting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the marketplace.

7. Fees, Payments, and Refunds

Membership fees, listing fees, or other charges (if applicable) are described separately in product or billing flows. Payment disputes between buyers and sellers are generally handled directly between those parties unless otherwise required by law or platform policy.

8. User Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of your listings and communications, compliance with local laws, and all activity occurring under your account credentials.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flintwork Exchange and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from use of the platform.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Flintwork Exchange and its operators from claims, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws in your governing jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
